Sheila Matz, LCSW

I am a therapist with nearly 20 years of experience working with adults, children and teens, and families.  Prior to working in private practice, I worked in a county mental health clinic in Oakland with a diverse group of individuals and families of all cultural backgrounds and sexual orientations.  Some of the issues I work on in private practice include, but are not limited to, life transitions, depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, grief and loss issues, anger problems, low self esteem, family conflict, bullying, and physical and sexual abuse.  It is my job to work compassionately and respectfully with you towards your goals.
